Bali is a beautiful, enchanted island full of mystery and adventure. It is located near the main Indonesian island of Java. Unlike the rest of Indonesia, Bali stands alone as an oasis of Hindu culture. It is filled with temples and everywhere one goes you are constantly reminded of their deep spirituality.

Accomodations:
Students will be housed in a stunning beachside resort called Apa kabar villas www.apakabarvillas.com. This boutique hotel is located on the eastern side of Bali way away from the hustle bustle of the heavily touristed areas. There are lovely rooms with air conditioning and private baths. There is a restaurant on site along with many other amenities. Note that space is limited and we reserve the right to house students either in a nearby similar location or by sharing accommodations.

Below is a sampling from the mixed Media Mandala's class. Artwork featured is a combination of my own mandalas and student artwork. Incorporating Balinese artwork into these mandalas will be a wonderful addition to this workshop while on retreat.

CREATIVE INSTINCTS:
We will be getting outside and into nature to purify the creative mind and connect with our surroundings. This process is one of my very favorite workshops. We will be able to catch insights while building our personal nature altars with nothing more than found objects. This can be a profound experience and restores a sense of creative faith.

EAT PRAY LOVE: The real thing!
Some of you might remember the healers in the Bali chapters of Eat Prey Love. Arcangelo Productions is arranging readings and visits with both Ketut, the Medicine Man and ELizabeth Gilberts Healer friend in Ubud, named Wayan for those of us who want to go! A wonderful opportunity to be sure. And if you haven't read Eat, Prey, Love then it's a must read getting you ready for Bali!
